Program Overview
The three GCSE Computer Science specifications share a name and set different exams. AQA 8525 runs a two-hour Paper 1 on computational thinking and programming and a one-hour-forty-five Paper 2 on computing concepts, each ninety marks and each half the qualification. OCR J277 runs two papers of an hour and a half and eighty marks each. Edexcel sets its own 1CP2. A student revising from the wrong board's past papers is practising the wrong exam, and it is the commonest avoidable problem we see. The first thing we ask is which board, and the course is built around that answer. Everything is taught live, in a batch of five to eight or one to one, with programming in Python and past papers marked against the real mark scheme.
