Program Overview
A 6-month live prep program for the Digital SAT's math section, taught 1-on-1 or in small groups by a dedicated mentor. The SAT math section rewards structure recognition and clean algebra far more than memorized tricks, so we teach the mathematics underneath first, linear and nonlinear equations, functions, ratios, data, then layer on adaptive-test strategy: module pacing, Desmos calculator fluency, and when to solve versus when to backsolve. Every student runs full timed mock cycles with question-by-question review, so score movement is measured, not hoped for.
What Makes This Program Different
- Understanding-first: we repair the algebra underneath before drilling question types, because that is where 600-scorers become 750-scorers
- Digital SAT native: adaptive module strategy and built-in Desmos calculator workflows taught as first-class skills
- A dedicated mentor who tracks your error log across the whole program, not a rotating cast
- Full mock cycles under real timing with question-by-question review against the reasoning, not just the answer key
- One full interactive hour per class, twice a week, no 25-minute check-ins
- Honest score guidance: a diagnostic in week one and evidence-based targets, never invented score promises
- Small groups capped tight, or fully private 1-on-1 mentorship
- Every class recorded for revision before test day

Detailed Course Curriculum
Explore the complete week-by-week breakdown of what you'll learn in this comprehensive program.
Topics Covered
- Full timed diagnostic module with question-by-question review
- Personal error log opened: content gaps vs speed gaps vs careless patterns
- Linear equations and expressions from meaning, not moves
- Translating word problems into equations, the SAT's favorite disguise
- Slope and intercepts as rates and starting values in context
- Desmos introduction: graphing as a checking habit
Projects You Build
- Personal score map: your exact domains, question types and target
- First timed mini-module under real Digital SAT pacing
Practice & Assignments
Complete one timed linear equations mini set, log every miss in your error log as content, speed or careless, and redo the misses untimed.
Topics Covered
- Systems solved three ways: substitution, elimination, Desmos intersection
- How many solutions? Parallel, intersecting and identical lines as ideas
- Linear inequalities and shaded regions read from the graph
- Systems word problems: mixtures, rates, break-even setups
- When solving is slower than testing answer choices, strategy honestly taught
- Timed reps: the 60-second system question
Projects You Build
- Break-even mini-case solved by equation, table and graph
- Error-log review: your system-question mistakes classified and closed
Practice & Assignments
Work a 15 question systems and inequalities set, solving at least five by Desmos intersection, and file each error in your log with its fix.
Topics Covered
- Function notation read as a sentence: f(x) is an output, not a mystery
- Evaluating, composing and interpreting functions in context
- Graph reading: intercepts, increasing/decreasing, transformations
- Linear function word problems and modeling
- Function questions in the calculator module: Desmos-first workflows
- Timed reps: function questions across both modules
Projects You Build
- Function-transformation exploration built live in Desmos
- Mixed timed set: algebra domain at full pace
Practice & Assignments
Finish a mixed function notation problem set, then rebuild two missed questions in Desmos to see what the graph was telling you.
Topics Covered
- Full algebra-domain timed section under adaptive conditions
- Review ritual taught: why each miss happened, what changes next time
- Absolute value and compound inequalities, the fringe cases
- Careless-error engineering: writing habits that stop point leaks
- Module-1 pacing plan drafted against your speed data
Projects You Build
- Algebra checkpoint mock + personal pacing plan v1
- Updated error log with closed vs open gap list
Practice & Assignments
Take one timed algebra domain section and write a one line cause and correction for every dropped point before the review class.
Topics Covered
- Quadratics four ways: factoring, completing the square, formula, Desmos
- The discriminant as an idea: how many solutions and why the SAT asks
- Vertex form and parabola word problems (projectiles, revenue, area)
- Nonlinear systems: line meets parabola, read from the graph
- Exponent rules rebuilt from meaning; rational exponents and radicals
- Hard-module quadratic questions: recognizing the structure in costume
Projects You Build
- Projectile/revenue modeling mini-case solved by vertex reasoning
- Timed hard-module quadratic set with full review
Practice & Assignments
Drill a 12 question hard module quadratic set, solving each question twice: once by algebra and once by the fastest Desmos route.
Topics Covered
- Linear vs exponential growth: the comparison the SAT loves to test
- Exponential word problems: percent growth/decay, doubling, interest
- Polynomial arithmetic, zeros and graph behavior
- Rational expressions and equations without fear
- Isolating variables in formulas, the classic layup question
- Equivalent-expression questions: the algebra-fluency tax
Projects You Build
- Growth-model comparison case: same data, linear vs exponential fits
- Advanced Math domain checkpoint under timing
Practice & Assignments
Complete a percent growth and decay problem set plus five isolate the variable questions, keeping each layup question under a minute.
Topics Covered
- Ratio and proportion reasoning: the choose-the-easy-comparison skill
- Percent problems in every SAT costume: change, reverse, repeated
- Unit conversion and rates with dimensional discipline
- Reading tables, scatterplots, histograms and box plots fast
- Line of best fit, slope interpretation and prediction questions
- Mean, median, range and standard deviation as concepts
- Margin of error and study-design questions, what the SAT actually asks
- Two-way tables and conditional probability without formulas
Projects You Build
- Data-interpretation sprint: 20 real chart questions under time
- Full mixed-domain mock: first complete Digital SAT math section
Practice & Assignments
Run a 20 question ratio, percent and data interpretation sprint under time and classify every miss before class.
Topics Covered
- Area, volume and the reference-sheet formulas used intelligently
- Triangles: similarity, right-triangle trig, special right triangles
- Circles: arcs, sectors, and the circle equation
- Angle chasing with parallel lines and polygons
- Coordinate geometry: distance, midpoint, and geometric reasoning on the grid
- Trig on the SAT: exactly what is tested, nothing more
Projects You Build
- Geometry domain checkpoint under timing
- Personal formula-and-recognition sheet, built not copied
Practice & Assignments
Finish a geometry domain set using your own recognition sheet wherever possible, starring any formula you still had to look up.
Topics Covered
- How Digital SAT adaptivity works and what module 1 accuracy is worth
- Pacing plans per module built from your own timing data
- Desmos power workflows: solving, systems, regressions, tables at speed
- Solve vs backsolve vs plug-in: choosing the fastest honest route
- Flag-and-return discipline; the two-pass module method
- Guessing strategy and the no-blank rule, applied calmly
Projects You Build
- Desmos speed drills: 15 questions where the calculator wins
- Strategy card: your personal decision rules for module 2
Practice & Assignments
Do the 15 question Desmos speed drill, record your per question times and flag anything over 90 seconds for strategy review.
Topics Covered
- Full adaptive mocks under exact timing, reviewed question by question
- Error-log closure: every recurring mistake gets a named fix
- Score-trend review with honest final-target calibration

Projects You Build
- Two to three full mock cycles with documented score progression
- Written test-day plan, rehearsed twice before the real thing
Practice & Assignments
Sit one full adaptive mock under exact timing this week and bring the question by question review with your named fixes.
