The market is full of courses that teach prompting and call it AI coding. Prompting is module two of five. A complete AI coding course in 2026 teaches five modules: enough programming fundamentals to read what models write, the craft of directing models precisely, verification habits that catch confident errors, testing and shipping so projects reach real users, and a supervised introduction to coding agents. Courses that teach only prompting produce students who can start anything and finish nothing. The syllabus
Each module answers a failure we see in students arriving from prompt-only courses. The order matters less than the coverage; the coverage is not optional.

Module three deserves its extra sentence, because it is the one nobody advertises. Models produce confident, plausible, occasionally wrong code, and the difference between a professional and a liability is the reflex of checking. We teach it the way it sticks: every week includes one exercise where something the model produced is subtly wrong, and finding it is the assignment. Students who have hunted planted flaws for a term read everything differently, including their own work.
Module five is honestly gated. The serious agent tools set their floors at adulthood, so teens meet agents through demonstrations and the teen-permitted subset, and the full terminal workflow waits for the college and professional tracks. Why the syllabus changed
Both columns are twelve weeks of a beginner course. Watch where the hours moved, because the movement is the whole story of this field.

Nothing was wrong with this in its decade. The scarce skill was producing correct syntax, so the course maximised syntax production.

The 2026 column produces a student who ships in week one and spends the term learning to be right about what shipped. That inversion is this whole course.
A fair question is whether the 2019 skills died. They did not; they moved into module one and into the weekly unassisted work, because reading fluency still comes from writing. What died is the idea that a beginner must earn months of syntax before touching anything real. The modern course runs both currents at once, and the students who thrive are the ones taught to switch between them on purpose.
Outcomes
Not "understands AI concepts". Abilities, checkable by anyone, with no goodwill required.
Given a concrete problem, a graduate scopes it, directs a model through the build, and puts a working version at a live link inside two days, because they have done exactly this at least six times during the course.
Handed an unfamiliar file, they can say where the data lives, what runs on each action, and which part to touch for a given change. This is the module-one floor, and it is tested cold, without the model open.
Shown output that runs but is wrong, they find it, because a term of planted-flaw hunting built the reflex of distrust. This single ability separates our graduates most visibly from prompt-course graduates.
Their projects live in version control with honest histories, so a reviewer can watch the work happen over time. Nothing about their portfolio requires taking their word for anything.
Demo day is a defence, not a slideshow: batchmates ask why, and the builder answers cold. Graduates interview noticeably better for having practised being questioned about their own work.
Graduates leave with an honest map: what they can build alone, what needs the model, what needs a senior. That calibration is rarer than any framework knowledge and hiring managers name it unprompted.
The rhythm
Ninety minutes, five to eight students, one teacher who stays with the batch for the whole arc. The shape rarely varies: fifteen minutes reviewing what everyone built since last time, an hour of new work on the week's module, and a closing stretch where each student states, out loud, exactly what they will ship before the next session. Saying it aloud sounds like a small thing; it roughly doubles the completion rate, and we have watched enough batches to say that with a straight face.
Two to three hours of build work, split deliberately: most of it AI-assisted, on the week's project, and one exercise done with every assistant closed. The teacher reads what comes back before the next session, not to grade it but to choose what that student meets next, a planted flaw, a harder spec, or a week of consolidation. This per-student steering is the thing a recorded course structurally cannot do, and it is most of what the fee buys.

Vibe coding names the conversational build loop; AI coding is the broader discipline around it: fundamentals, verification, testing, shipping and the beginnings of agent tools. Our vibe coding tracks are the project-led doorway, and this page describes the full house behind the door. In practice the tracks overlap heavily and a student moves between them based on goals rather than labels.
By age first, because tool terms decide what is even allowed: 13 to 18 in the teen track with parental consent, university students and career changers in the college track, and working professionals in the professionals track, which meets in evening and weekend slots. Within an age band, the free class settles level: it is a working session and doubles as an honest placement.
No. Module one exists precisely because the course assumes nothing: enough Python and web literacy to read what models produce is built from zero in the early weeks. Students who already code place straight into the later modules after the free class, so nobody pays to resit what they know.
There is a certificate on completion, and we are candid about what certifies whom: the certificate records that you finished; the portfolio of shipped projects is what actually convinces schools, employers or clients. The course is structured so you leave with both, and if you ever have to choose which to lead with, lead with the projects.
For adults, the honest framing is that AI-assisted development is rapidly becoming the default way software gets written, and fluency in it is turning from advantage into expectation. This course will not by itself get anyone hired; it makes you the candidate who ships faster and can explain every line, and it removes the quiet fear of being the person in the team who cannot work the new way.
Each module is roughly a month at one live session a week plus build work, so the full five-module arc is about five to six months. Most students see the first shipped project inside month one, because module one is taught through building rather than before it. Faster is possible one to one, where the pace follows the student instead of the batch.
