Bawshar, also written Bousher, is one of Muscat Governorate's six wilayats. This page uses Bawshar except inside proper names such as Indian School Bousher. The NCSI Statistical Year Book table for 2024 recorded 94,540 Omani and 346,359 expatriate residents in the wilayat, a total of 440,899.

The commute argument
A road improvement is useful, but it does not make every school, home and activity adjacent. Two online classes remove two optional return journeys. That is the practical claim. This page does not invent a fixed travel time, because Bawshar traffic depends on route and hour.
How should Bawshar schooling affect placement?
Indian School Bousher gives the page a real CBSE anchor. ABQ Al Imtiaz says it opened as a bilingual school in 2023 and will offer KG to Grade 10 in 2026/27. Imam Muhanna bin Sultan School appears in Muscat Municipality's description of the Bawshar Road footbridge. These are three different educational settings inside one wilayat.
One short national point is enough: Oman's Grade 11 and 12 IT assessment values application, analysis and evaluation as well as knowledge. Can one histogram show one peak and three?
Bawshar's mix of national, Indian and private schools makes school-size data locally meaningful. It also makes a histogram dangerously easy to tune until it tells the story the analyst expected.
The Ministry publishes 2024/2025 student counts by government school, grade and sex, with a matching school file by governorate. Students identify the Bawshar schools in the current data, document the match and calculate one total per school.
The ordinary question is whether Bawshar has one typical school size or several groups. A histogram with wide bins can show one broad mound. Narrow bins can split the same values into several apparent peaks. Both charts use the same schools.
The trap

Bawshar questions, answered plainly
Do you teach students from Indian School Bousher?
Students can join from Indian School Bousher or any other Bawshar school because the classes are online. The Embassy of India documents the school in its Muscat community work. Placement still uses a live task, since school name and grade do not show whether a learner can code independently.
Does the programme suit ABQ Al Imtiaz students?
It can. ABQ states that Al Imtiaz opened in Bawshar in 2023 and is expanding through Grade 10 in 2026/27. The free class checks the student's current mathematics, logic and programming work before a course is chosen. Modern Age Coders does not claim to replace the school's curriculum.
