Modern Age Coders provides live one-to-one online CBSE and ICSE maths tutoring for Indian-curriculum students across the UAE — Class 6 through the Class 10 and 12 board exams, aligned with NCERT.
We go beyond rote NCERT solutions to genuine understanding, then prepare thoroughly for the boards and competency-based questions, with the same tutor throughout. Pricing is USD 100 per month (about AED 370) for eight 1:1 sessions, lessons run in Gulf Standard Time, and the first session is free.
Memorising NCERT solutions works — until the board asks the question a different way.
CBSE maths has a clear syllabus and a generous bank of NCERT exercises, so the common strategy is to memorise solved examples and practise the same patterns. It produces decent marks in school tests — and then the Class 10 or 12 board paper introduces a competency-based or case-study question phrased unlike anything practised, and a strong student freezes.
The shift toward application and reasoning in the CBSE boards has made rote memorisation riskier than ever.
What actually secures top board marks is understanding the concept well enough to apply it to an unfamiliar situation — exactly what the new question styles test.
We teach that. We're fully NCERT-aligned and we drill previous-year papers, but underneath we make sure your child understands why each method works. That's the difference between a student who hopes the board repeats a known question and one who can handle whatever it asks.
NCERT-aligned, understanding-first, board-ready.
We respect the syllabus and the boards — and teach the reasoning the new question styles demand.
Work from NCERT & your school
We follow the NCERT chapters and your child's school approach, so tuition supports class, not competes with it.
Teach the concept, not the solution
We make sure your child understands why a method works — the key to the competency-based and case-study questions.
Practise board-pattern papers
Previous-year papers, sample papers and the current exam pattern, with the presentation that earns full marks.
Strengthen toward what's next
For students aiming at JEE or other competitive exams, we build the deeper foundations early.
Why (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b² — seen, not memorised.
What gets memorised: students learn the identity (a + b)² = a² + 2ab + b² as a formula to recall — and forget the "2ab" middle term, the single most common algebra error in CBSE papers.
How we do it. (a + b)² is the area of a square with side (a + b). Split each side into a part of length a and a part of length b, and the square breaks into four pieces whose areas you can read straight off:
a×a = a² | a×b = ab
b×a = ab | b×b = b²
total area = a² + ab + ab + b² = a² + 2ab + b²
The "2ab" is suddenly obvious — there are two identical ab rectangles, one above the other. A student who has seen this picture never drops the middle term again, and understands every related identity, (a − b)² and (a + b)(a − b), the same way. This is how we teach CBSE algebra: a picture that makes the formula inevitable, so it survives the board exam instead of slipping away under pressure.
Understanding-based maths is the foundation of coding, AI and engineering.
Reason, don't rote-learn
The competency-based CBSE questions reward applying ideas to new situations — exactly the thinking that makes a strong programmer.
Break problems down
A multi-step board question and a software task are solved the same way: decompose, then build up.
Verify your answer
Checking a result is sensible is a debugging habit that saves careless board marks.
We're Modern Age Coders, built around real coding and AI. The understanding-first approach we bring to CBSE maths is the same thinking behind engineering and computer science — the paths many of our Indian-community students in the UAE are aiming for, including JEE and top global universities.
CBSE & ICSE maths, Class 6 to 12.
NCERT-aligned, with the board exams firmly in view.
Middle school (Class 6–8)
Integers, fractions, ratio, algebra basics and geometry — the foundation the senior classes depend on.
Class 9 & 10
Polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, statistics — building to the Class 10 board.
Class 11 & 12
Relations and functions, trigonometry, limits and calculus, vectors, probability and the full Class 12 board syllabus.
Board exam preparation
Previous-year and sample papers, competency-based and case-study questions, and full-marks presentation.
ICSE maths
The ICSE syllabus and exam style for families on that board, taught the same understanding-first way.
Competitive foundations
For JEE-bound students, the deeper conceptual base that competitive exams reward, started early.
The right fit — and an honest word on what to expect.
This fits the UAE Indian-curriculum student preparing for the Class 10 or 12 board, the one whose marks dip on unfamiliar questions, and the strong student aiming for a top board percentage and competitive exams. ICSE families are equally welcome.
What's realistic. Understanding rebuilds within a few weeks; board-level marks track a term or two of steady work. We'll set an honest target around your child's class and timeline, and never guarantee a percentage.
What we won't do
- Hand over NCERT solutions to be memorised.
- Drill patterns without building understanding.
- Guarantee a specific board percentage.
- Ignore the new competency-based question styles.

Tutors who know CBSE/ICSE — and teach it for understanding.
Our CBSE and ICSE tutors know the syllabus, the NCERT books and the board exam pattern thoroughly — and crucially, they teach for understanding rather than feeding solutions to memorise. That's what produces marks that hold up on the new question styles.
The same tutor stays with your child, so by board season they know exactly which chapters and which question types still need work.
"My son was memorising NCERT but losing marks on the new case-study questions. His tutor rebuilt the concepts — he scored far higher in the Class 10 board than we'd hoped."
