Students at CBSE schools outside India can join Modern Age Coders' live CBSE Class 10 AI (417) batch online. It runs on Monday and Wednesday at 9:00 PM IST, which is 7:30 PM in the UAE and Oman, 6:30 PM in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and East Africa, and 9:15 PM in Nepal. Gulf countries do not change their clocks, so these times hold all year. The batch covers the full 2026-27 theory syllabus, the practical file and project, the sample paper and timed mocks, with live doubt solving in every class. Where the batch falls too late, as in Singapore and Malaysia at 11:30 PM, personalised one to one runs at a local time the family chooses. Outside India, fees are shown and charged in US dollars.
Q1. When are the classes in our time zone?
India, the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Nepal do not use daylight saving time, so the class time does not move in spring or autumn. A time set in October still holds in February.
| Where your child studies | Monday and Wednesday class | What that means |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Muscat | 7:30 PM | Home from school, homework done, class before dinner |
| Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait City, Manama | 6:30 PM | The earliest evening slot in the region, with the night free afterwards |
| Kathmandu | 9:15 PM | Late but workable for Class 10; many families pick one to one for an earlier hour |
| Addis Ababa and other cities on East Africa Time | 6:30 PM | Same evening slot as Saudi Arabia |
| Singapore, Kuala Lumpur | 11:30 PM | Too late on a school night: personalised one to one instead |
Monday and Wednesday are ordinary school days in every Gulf country, whichever days the local weekend falls on, so the class sits in a school-night routine rather than eating into the weekend. In January, timed mock papers move to a weekend morning, written at home in exam conditions and reviewed live in the next class.
Q2. Which countries do your students come from?
CBSE's school directory listed 268 affiliated schools in 26 countries outside India when we checked on 13 October 2026. Most are in the Gulf, which is why the batch time was chosen to suit Gulf evenings.
109 CBSE schools across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and the northern emirates, the largest group outside India. The batch is at 7:30 PM local time, after school and most activities have finished.
41 CBSE schools, many of them Indian international schools in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. At 6:30 PM the class finishes early in the evening, leaving the rest of the night for homework.
22 CBSE schools in Kuwait, 20 in Qatar and 8 in Bahrain, all on Arabia Standard Time. Like Saudi Arabia, they get the batch at 6:30 PM on Monday and Wednesday.
18 CBSE schools, most of them in Muscat, with others in Salalah, Sohar and Nizwa. Oman shares the UAE's time zone, so the class falls at 7:30 PM.
16 CBSE schools, most of them in the Kathmandu valley. Nepal is fifteen minutes ahead of India, so the batch is at 9:15 PM. Families who prefer an earlier evening class choose one to one.
7 CBSE schools in Ethiopia, on East Africa Time, which puts the batch at 6:30 PM. In Singapore and Malaysia it falls at 11:30 PM, so students there study one to one.
School counts are from the CBSE affiliation directory on the date shown, and they change as schools affiliate. For more on how we teach students in the Gulf, see coding classes in Dubai and coding classes in Saudi Arabia.
Q3. Is the board exam the same outside India?
Your school registers your child with CBSE through the LOC, the list of candidates. The regular window runs from 24 September to 21 October 2026, with a correction window from 2 to 4 November. Ask the class teacher to confirm that subject code 417 is on your child's record.
Your school also sets the practical exam dates and arranges the examiner. Schools abroad often announce these at short notice around their own winter break, so our Wednesday classes aim to have the practical file and project ready well before January. The full paper pattern and calendar are on CBSE Class 10 AI exam date and paper pattern.
Q4. What does a week in the batch look like from the Gulf?
Students in the Gulf join from home on a laptop with a headset. They see the teacher, the shared screen and their classmates, and can speak or type at any point.
One Part B unit is taught and then practised in the paper's question shapes: objective questions, a two-mark answer within thirty words, a four-mark case study within eighty. From November, a short Part A drill keeps the ten employability marks warm.
A practical file program is written in Jupyter Notebook, run and explained, and the project moves forward a step. Students install Python and Jupyter in the first week with the teacher's help, so the setup matches what the school lab uses.
Any student can stop the class with a question, share their screen and get it answered while the class is still on that topic. Doubts from homework open the next class, three days later at most.
From January, full mock papers are written at home on a weekend morning, close to the time the real paper runs, and reviewed live in the next class with lost marks rewritten. The full series is on the sample paper and mock tests page.
After the diagnostic, when the practical file closes and after each mock, parents get a short progress report: marks by unit and what to practise at home. For parents in a different city from the teacher, that report is the clearest picture of how the year is going.
Q5. Which families abroad choose which format?
A Class 10 student at a CBSE school in Sharjah or Doha with free evenings. The Monday and Wednesday batch suits them: a fixed time, classmates on the same syllabus, and two classes a week on a steady plan from October to the board paper.
A student with evening coaching for maths and science, sports training, or a home in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Kathmandu where the batch time is awkward. Personalised one to one is set at an hour that works locally and moves when the school calendar does.
A family relocating between India and the Gulf during the board year. Live online classes keep the same teacher and the same plan through the move, and the class time is adjusted to the new city, so the AI preparation is not interrupted.
Not sure which fits? The free demo ends with a plain recommendation from the mentor, based on your child's level, timetable and how much of the session is left. To see the course itself first, read about the Monday and Wednesday Class 10 AI batch.
Q6. How do we know an online tutor in India is right for us?
Choosing a tutor in another country is a reasonable worry. The way we answer it is simple: you see a real class before you pay, and nothing is locked in.
The free demo is a live class with the teacher, not a sales call. Your child works on actual 417 questions and gets doubts answered, and you can sit in. If you want a fuller assessment at a time you pick, the priority demo adds a written skill report afterwards.
There is no admission fee and no term contract. Fees are billed monthly and you can stop at the end of any month. Outside India, fees are shown and charged in US dollars, the same for every country.
Modern Age Coders has taught live online since 2020, to more than 10,000 students in India and abroad, and is rated 4.9 across 547 Google reviews. Families reach us on WhatsApp, by phone or at connect@modernagecoders.com.
Batch or personalised: you choose
Both formats cover the full 417 syllabus, the practical file and project, and the mocks, with the same teachers. Choose by whether the batch time suits your city. Outside India, fees are shown and charged in US dollars. Billed monthly, no admission fee.
Option 1 · Fixed batch timings
₹1,499
per month, two live classes a week
Option 2 · Choose your own timing

For most Gulf timetables the batch is the natural fit, because 7:30 PM in the UAE and 6:30 PM in Saudi Arabia fall after school. Families in Singapore, Malaysia or with crowded evenings usually choose personalised one to one. Either way, the first class is a free demo, and the fee is shown above in US dollars when you visit from outside India.
Studying outside India?
These are the Monday and Wednesday classes in local time for every country with CBSE schools that our students come from, worked out for the winter board season. The batch counts as a fit only if both weekly classes start after school and no later than 9:30 PM.

Questions from families abroad
Yes, live online. Our Monday and Wednesday Class 10 AI batch runs at 9:00 PM IST, which is 7:30 PM in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the rest of the UAE. It covers the full 417 syllabus, the practical file and project, the sample paper and mocks, with live doubt solving. Personalised one to one is available at any other local time.
The batch is at 6:30 PM local time on Monday and Wednesday in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Doha, Kuwait City and Manama, because these countries are two and a half hours behind India. They do not change their clocks, so the time holds all year.
Yes. CBSE schools abroad follow the same 2026-27 curriculum for Artificial Intelligence (417): Part A employability skills, seven Part B units, a 50-mark theory paper and 50 practical marks conducted by the school. Our classes teach that curriculum unchanged.
Yes. Nepal is fifteen minutes ahead of India, so the 9 PM IST batch is at 9:15 PM in Kathmandu, which works for many Class 10 students. Families who prefer an earlier class choose personalised one to one at a time that suits them.
Yes, one to one. The batch falls at 11:30 PM there, which is too late on a school night, so students in Singapore and Malaysia study personalised one to one at a local time the family chooses, with the same teachers and syllabus.
Outside India, fees are shown and charged in US dollars, at one price for every country, and billed monthly with no admission fee. You can stop at the end of any month. The fee for the batch and for personalised one to one appears on this page when you visit from outside India.
Yes. The practical is half the subject: a 15-program file, a practical exam, a project and two vivas, all conducted by your school. Wednesday classes build the file and the project step by step and rehearse the viva, so your child is ready whenever the school sets the dates.
Classes are live. A missed class is covered with homework and a short catch-up in the next class, and for several missed classes, such as during a long trip, a one-off catch-up session is arranged. Families moving between countries keep the same teacher and adjust the class time to the new city.
Not on this page. These classes are for students at CBSE schools sitting the CBSE Class 10 AI (417) exam. CBSE has no affiliated schools in the UK or the US, so the table lists only countries where CBSE schools operate.
