Modern Age Coders is an online maths tutor serving all of Sharjah — Al Nahda, Al Majaz, Al Khan, Muwailih, University City and beyond — with live one-to-one lessons for CBSE, British, IB and MOE schools, all ages.
It's strong teaching at sensible value: USD 100 per month (about AED 370) for eight 1:1 lessons, typically well below in-person rates, with a tutor matched to your child's curriculum and no commute. Lessons run in Gulf Standard Time and the first lesson is free.
Strong maths tuition that fits the curriculum — and the family budget.
Sharjah is home to a huge, education-focused community, much of it on the CBSE and Indian curricula, alongside British, IB and MOE schools. Families here take maths seriously and want genuinely good tuition — but premium in-person centre rates, and the time cost of driving to a centre or commuting toward Dubai, make that harder than it should be.
Too often the choice is an expensive centre, a cheap-but-generic group class, or a tutor who doesn't quite know the curriculum.
Online one-to-one tuition fixes all three. You get a tutor matched precisely to your child's curriculum, full individual attention, and a price that respects the family budget — with zero travel.
And the teaching philosophy is the one that actually produces results: understand why the maths works, so it holds up in board exams, the next class, and beyond.
Understanding first — whatever your child's curriculum.
CBSE board depth, British exam precision, IB rigour — all taught for genuine understanding.
Match curriculum & tutor
We pair your child with a tutor who knows their exact Sharjah school system and works from its syllabus.
Diagnose the real gap
We find the earlier idea that's actually missing, rather than just drilling the current chapter.
Teach the reasoning
Every method becomes something your child can rebuild and explain — the kind that survives a board exam.
Build fluency & exam skill
Then we add the speed and the curriculum-specific exam technique that turn understanding into marks.
Why the angles in a triangle always add to 180°.
What gets memorised: "the angles in a triangle add up to 180°." Students use it constantly and have no idea why it's true — so they can't tell when a related rule applies and when it doesn't.
How we teach it. Imagine tearing the three corners off any paper triangle and laying them side by side along a straight line. They always fit exactly — and a straight line is 180°. The reason is parallel lines: draw a line through the top vertex parallel to the base, and the two base angles reappear at the top as "alternate angles":
the two base angles (a and b) reappear at the top
at the top: a + (top angle c) + b sit on a straight line
so a + b + c = 180° (angles on a straight line)
Now "180°" isn't a fact to memorise — it's a consequence of how parallel lines behave, which a student can rebuild and trust. A child who understands this can reason about exterior angles, polygons and proofs, instead of just quoting a number. That depth is what board exams and the IB reward, and it's what we teach in every lesson.
The reasoning behind maths is the reasoning behind coding and AI.
Break problems down
Decomposition powers both a maths proof and a piece of software. We teach it as one skill.
Reason from why
Knowing why 180° is true — not just that it is — is the same logic that lets a programmer trust their work.
Check your reasoning
Testing your own thinking is the habit behind both confident maths and reliable code.
We're Modern Age Coders, built around real coding and AI. The same clear reasoning we teach for programming is what turns a Sharjah student from someone who memorises maths into someone who genuinely understands it — and that understanding opens doors well beyond the exam hall.

The right fit — and an honest word on what to expect.
This fits any Sharjah family wanting strong, curriculum-matched maths help at sensible value — a child preparing for CBSE boards, one slipping in a British or IB school, or a family that commutes toward Dubai and has no time for an in-person centre.
What's realistic. Most parents see their child stop dreading maths within a few weeks; board-level and grade gains follow over a term of steady work. We'll give you an honest read on the timeline.

- Drill tricks with no understanding beneath them.

Tutors who know the curriculum and keep it patient.
Whether your child is sitting CBSE boards, GCSEs or the IB, we match them with a tutor who knows that exact system deeply — and who has the patience to explain an idea as many ways as it takes. Online means we choose from the best, not just the nearest.
The same tutor stays week to week, building the trust that makes a student willing to say "I don't understand" — the moment real progress begins.
"We wanted a serious CBSE maths tutor without the cost of a centre. The match was excellent, my son understood the concepts properly, and his board preparation has never been calmer."
