None is presented as a partner or endorser of Modern Age Coders. ### ABA's Al Irfan campus opened in March 2022 [ABA Oman International School](https://www.abaoman.org/about-us/al-irfan-campus) says its Madinat Al Irfan campus opened in March 2022. It describes a Learning Center, Athletics Center, Performing Arts Center and interactive outdoor learning spaces for students aged 3 to 18. The school offers the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. ABA's wider [history page](https://www.abaoman.org/about-us) says it was founded in 1987 and serves a community representing more than 70 nationalities. These facts inform placement questions but do not make Modern Age Coders an IB provider. ### Class-size guides change by stage ABA's [admissions guidance](https://www.abaoman.org/admissions/how-to-apply) publishes class-assignment guides of 16 for FC1 and FC2, 20 for Kindergarten, 22 for Grades 1 to 10 and 18 per subject class in Grades 11 and 12. A model that sees the Grade 1 to 10 value and extends it to every grade would be wrong before it begins. The institution itself supplies a piecewise rule. Good software keeps the stage boundaries instead of forcing one continuous pattern across them. ### OMRAN describes a multi-asset district [OMRAN Group](https://omran.om/projects/madinat-al-irfan) calls Madinat Al Irfan its flagship urban destination. It places Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre at the heart of the district and names Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC and Muscat's first JW Marriott as connected hospitality assets. The same page describes the country's first fully LEED and WELL certified Business Park and names Omantel, OQ and OQEP headquarters there. It says the International Financial Centre of Oman is set to join the district. Existing assets and future elements require different status fields. ### OCEC publishes configuration-specific capacities OCEC's [official event-space guide](https://ocec.om/) gives Exhibition Halls 1 to 5 a combined area of 22,396 square metres and a plan for 1,408 exhibition booths. Individual halls are not identical. Hall 1 is listed at 4,880 square metres, with 3,744 theatre seats or 195 exhibition booths. Hall 2 is 4,212 square metres, with 3,648 theatre seats or 165 booths. Layout changes the capacity, so a forecast needs a room and configuration rather than one universal venue number. A date is part of a fact ABA's 2022 opening, a current business-park description and a venue configuration table are not timeless constants. Each data row needs a source, effective date and status before it can support a decision. Local facts last verified 16 August 2026 against the linked ABA, OMRAN and OCEC sources. Madinat Al Irfan forecasting project ## A straight first week does not authorise a straight twentieth day The registration series is invented. It is not connected to ABA, OCEC, OMRAN, a hotel or any actual event. ### The tempting line A synthetic campaign records 120, 150, 180, 210 and 240 registrations on days 1 through 5. A line fits perfectly, adding 30 per day. That proves only that the five values are linear. Day 20 is fifteen days beyond the observed boundary and three times farther from day 5 than the entire measured span from day 1 to day 5. ### What the line cannot know Promotion can end, interest can saturate, duplicate records can be removed, capacity can bind and registration rules can change. None appears in the five-point series. A narrow residual of zero inside the training range does not measure uncertainty outside it. The learner must draw a visible boundary at day 5, label later output as extrapolation and avoid publishing a point estimate without assumptions or an uncertainty treatment. Better work adds holdout days, operational constraints and alternative curves before deciding whether any forecast is useful. Required response The fitted line predicts 690 under an unchanged linear process, but the dataset contains no evidence after day 5. ABA says its Madinat Al Irfan campus opened in March 2022 and offers the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. Modern Age Coders is independent of ABA and the IB.
