They do not endorse Modern Age Coders. ### TLC International School began in 2008 [TLC International School's own history](https://tlcoman.edu.om/our_school/) places the school in Azaiba and says it was founded in 2008. It describes deliberately small class sizes and a learning environment built around individual attention. The school's main site identifies Nursery, Reception, Primary and Lower Secondary stages. Its [Lower Secondary page](https://tlcoman.edu.om/academic_life/lower_secondary_grades/) specifies Grades 7 and 8 for ages 11 to 13 and a British-based curriculum adapted to international standards. Modern Age Coders remains separate and ability-placed. ### A beach park with countable assets [Muscat Municipality's Azeba Beach Park account](https://www.mm.gov.om/NewNewsDetails.aspx?MID=59&MoID=1&NID=1005) reports an 800-metre brick pedestrian path, four shade structures, ten seats and 30 parking spaces. The same official page records 12,000 square metres of green turf, about 50 date palms and about 40 coconut palms. The word about matters: the tree figures should not be treated as survey-exact. Software that drops qualifiers and keeps only integers creates false precision even before decimals appear. ### The wadi route has a different scale A separate [municipality walkway report](https://www.mm.gov.om/NewNewsDetails.aspx?MID=59&MoID=1&NID=1263) says AlAziba Wadi was developed with a tiled walkway 1,600 metres long and 2 metres wide. It should not be merged with the 800-metre beach-park path merely because both belong to the same district. A useful learner schema therefore stores asset name, source URL, published unit, stated precision and verification date. Two rows may share a place and unit without describing the same object. ### A planned city adds a future-state dataset The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning's [Thuraya City project page](https://mohup.gov.om/ar/projects/jekkc0u4ltoiwpb21f7dna9o) locates the plan in Azaiba on a plateau 200 metres above sea level. It gives an area of 3,087,000 square metres. The plan lists 87 commercial units and 2,600 property units across eight residential neighbourhoods, with capacity for 8,000 residents. It also names 12 parks, two schools, sports and health facilities and an entertainment centre. These are planned attributes, not proof that every element already operates. Source status belongs in the data model Existing park assets, a developed walkway and a planned urban project require different status values. A learner who copies all three into one undated table can produce numerically tidy but factually misleading output. Local facts last verified 16 August 2026 against the linked school, municipality and ministry pages. Azaiba precision project ## Truncation makes every positive segment a little too short The four decimal measurements are invented for teaching. They are not surveyed segments of an Azaiba path or planned development. ### The same values under two policies The synthetic measurements are 12.89, 8.76, 5.99 and 7.51 units. Rounding each to one decimal produces 12.9, 8.8, 6.0 and 7.5, totalling 35.2. Truncating each to one decimal produces 12.8, 8.7, 5.9 and 7.5, totalling 34.9. ``` import math values = [12.89, 8.76, 5.99, 7.51] rounded = [round(x, 1) for x in values] truncated = [math.trunc(x * 10) / 10 for x in values] sum(rounded) # 35.2 sum(truncated) # 34.9 ``` For these positive values, truncation always discards the remaining digits toward zero. Three segments move down by more than conventional rounding would permit. Repetition turns tiny individual losses into a 0.3-unit total difference. ### Precision is a policy, not a cleaning step Raw measurements should usually be retained. A display may show one decimal, while calculations continue with full available precision. If a specification requires rounding, the method, decimal places and stage of calculation must be documented. Negative numbers expose another trap: truncation toward zero is not the same as mathematical floor. A complete test suite includes positive, negative, exact-tenth, zero and boundary values. It also distinguishes binary floating-point representation from the business rule being tested. Required conclusion Do not truncate merely to make a table look neat. Questions ## Azaiba coding and mathematics answers ### Can TLC International School learners join Azaiba coding classes? Yes. TLC says it was founded in 2008 and offers Nursery, Reception, Primary and Lower Secondary in Azaiba. Modern Age Coders is a separate online provider. The free first class checks the individual learner's current logic, coding and mathematics work instead of assuming a level from the British-based school stage or the learner's age. ### What is the Azaiba truncation project? Learners use four invented decimal measurements. Rounding each to one decimal gives a total of 35.2, while truncating each gives 34.9. Truncation always cuts the discarded digits and pushes these positive measurements downward. The task requires code, unit tests and a written policy explaining when full precision, final rounding or display-only formatting is appropriate. ### Are the practice measurements from Azaiba Beach Park? No. Muscat Municipality publishes real park dimensions and asset counts, but the four decimal values in the lesson are synthetic. They are not surveyed path segments, tree measurements or visitor data. Keeping source facts separate from teaching data prevents an invented total from being mistaken for an official measurement or claim about the park. ### Does Modern Age Coders have an Azaiba branch? No. Classes are delivered live online by an Indian provider. Modern Age Coders has no classroom, training centre, street address, Omani branch or local telephone number in Azaiba. The +91 number shown on the page is the provider's real Indian WhatsApp and telephone contact. The first lesson is free, so families can test fit before paying. ### Are Azaiba, Azaibah and Azeba the same area? They are common English spellings for the same Muscat area. This page uses Azaiba in its URL, title and service schema. TLC uses Azaibah in its address, while an English Muscat Municipality page uses Azeba for the beach park. Source names are preserved when cited, but the spelling does not create separate class locations. ### Can a younger primary learner understand truncation bias? Yes, at an appropriate level. A child can compare number cards, cut off digits and observe that positive values repeatedly become smaller. Adult paths can cover web development, Python, databases, data analysis, automation or mathematics. The free class begins with a defined outcome such as cleaning measurements, automating a report or building an application. The course does not award credit from TLC, an Omani university or another institution. ### What do coding and mathematics classes in Azaiba cost?
