Detailed city material remains on the linked Ibri guide. ### Alternative spelling Some official English pages write the name as Al Dhahirah or A'Dhahirah. This guide keeps Adh Dhahirah in its URL and headings for consistent discovery. ### Separate wali leadership The current [government portal](https://gov.om/en/ad-dhahirah-governorate) lists a governor and separate wali leadership for Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank. ### Sunday to Thursday administration The portal publishes a Sunday-through-Thursday work week at the governor's office in Ibri. Those hours do not define lesson availability. ### Northwestern semi-desert region Oman's [Foreign Ministry guide](https://www.fm.gov.om/en/about-oman/state/oman-by-region/) places the governorate in northwestern Oman, descending from the western Hajar slopes toward the Empty Quarter. The value is a dated report, not a current status claim. ### The report named 590 connections It also said 6,000 people were expected to benefit and operation was expected in the third quarter of 2025. Expected, completed and operating need separate fields. Dhank and shared projects ## A regional total must retain project grain Official records distinguish places, construction stages and counts before aggregation. ### Dhank covers about 2,030 square kilometres The official [Dhank wilayat page](https://dhr.gov.om/dhank) gives this approximate area and places the wilayat within the governorate. ### Wadi Fida is a named local feature The same page identifies Wadi Fida among Dhank's best-known valleys. A place name belongs in an entity field, not a numeric measure. ### Yanqul covers an estimated 3,100 square kilometres The official [Yanqul page](https://www.dhr.gov.om/yanqul) gives this estimate and says the wilayat accounts for 9 percent of the governorate's area. ### Eighteen recharge dams in community work An [ONA report](https://omannews.gov.om/topics/en/137/show/123522/dark) dated 27 July 2025 describes community participation in the construction of 18 groundwater recharge dams across the governorate. ### Seven more were under construction The report allocated three to Ibri, three to Yanqul and one to Dhank. Those components sum to seven and must not be added again to the already described group without scope analysis. ### Two view projects had dated progress An [ONA report](https://omannews.gov.om/topics/en/137/show/124193/dark) dated 3 September 2025 gave about 40 percent for Dhank View and 35 percent for Yanqul View. They are separate projects, not one average status. Ordinary integer arithmetic establishes the expected result before implementation. ### Number returns 9,007,199,254,740,992 That nearby value is representable in binary floating-point. The intended odd integer is not exactly representable at this magnitude. ### MAX_SAFE_INTEGER is the boundary JavaScript guarantees consecutive exact integers only through 9,007,199,254,740,991. Larger numeric-looking values need an explicit exact strategy. ### BigInt preserves integer arithmetic Parsing the digit strings as BigInt and adding 2n produces the exact 9,007,199,254,740,993n value. ### JSON needs a transport decision Standard JSON has no BigInt literal. The API can transport digits as a string with schema metadata, then validate and convert at the boundary. ### Formatting comes last Thousands separators are applied only for display. They never become the stored or calculated value. Converting an unsafe Number to BigInt only preserves the already rounded value. ### Test equality traps At unsafe magnitudes, two intended adjacent integers can compare as equal after Number parsing. Boundary tests catch that false confidence. ### Keep control totals exact Every file and batch carries an exact record count or value total that reconciles before publication. ### Document units and scale An exact integer can still be semantically wrong. The field contract states entity, unit, scale and aggregation rule. ### Do not use floating-point tolerance Tolerance can be appropriate for measured decimals, but it must not excuse a mismatch in identifiers or exact counts. ### Publish synthetic provenance The final result states that all large values are invented and demonstrates the one-unit defect without attributing it to Adh Dhahirah.
